Employment Opportunities At Worth-Tyrrell Studios

At Worth-Tyrrell Studios, we try to find the best trained teachers we possibly can, who also are, or have been, active performers in the professional theatre.     Our feeling is that not only do performers tend to teach the most interesting and exciting classes, they also have current knowledge of the workings of the theatre business they can pass along to their students.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending on how you look at it), working performers tend to do just that, - work.  While we may not have immediate openings for new teachers, we are always on the look-out, since "gigs" in the theatre tend to be offered on an "immediate" basis.  (This year one teacher was in Hawaii for a month,  one is currently on Broadway with offers pending, one is covering an injured performer in an international tour for a few weeks, one is in Asia for a month, one of our past musical directors had three shows running on Broadway last year,  etc. etc.)
