Martin C. Hurt

    Martin C. Hurt, a native of Richmond, VA, is an actor, singer, voice teacher, and musical director living in New York City.    He has been seen on stage in numerous National Broadway Tours as well as Regional Theatre Companies and Regional Opera Companies across the United States.   

    Martin has served on the voice faculty of Coastal Carolina University, Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond VA), and currently teaches at AMDA in NYC.    Martin's private New York voice studio includes singers specializing in all vocal genres including classical, musical theatre, and contemporary commercial music.  He holds a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the New York Singing Teachers Association.
